Who do we work with?

Our Partners

The Basketball Foundation works in partnership with a range of national and local partners to deliver our core purpose of improving lives through basketball.

These include funding partners, such as Sport England, to strategic partnerships with the professional league (BBL) and the national governing body (Basketball England).

Locally, we are working with most BBL clubs, a range of County Sport Partnerships and a number of other basketball clubs.

We are also actively working on new initiatives with a range of community sport partners.  We wish to thank them all for their support.

Sport England, through the National Lottery, support the Foundation through funding the delivery of Project Hub, our initiative aimed at increasing participation in community basketball.

The BBL is the UK’s professional Basketball League, who support the Foundation through administrative support.  Additionally many of the BBL Clubs’ community programmes actively deliver our projects.

The Basketball Foundation work strategically with Basketball England, the National Governing Body for the sport to identify opportunities to grow the sport nationally.

We are working with StreetGames, the leading doorstep sport charity, to develop a basketball programme which will encourage new players into the sport and can be delivered within a door step sport, school or community club environment.
